What is it?
Solutions-Focused-Coaching builds on the (fast coaching) techniques devised by Steve de Shazer and Insoo Kim Berg, offering a pragmatic, forward-looking orientation.
The Solutions-focused approach is time-limited and results-oriented, making it perfect for people who:
Already have self-awareness about their patterns
Are primarily focused on forward movement
Prefer action-oriented approaches
Have time-sensitive challenges to address
Solutions-focused coaching does not dwell on the past. It looks at the present, takes the problem statement and examines your desired future.
As part of the process, we will explore instances when things are going right, not wrong. These are key components in getting to your solution, because it is in these moments that you are at your best, authentic self.
I help you discover solutions by uncovering when you’re already at your best. These 'exception moments' reveal not just what works, but who you truly are when operating from your strengths. My approach builds solutions based on your authentic capabilities rather than imposing external techniques.
How many sessions?
Anywhere from one to six sessions. The solutions focused approach includes tracking of progress, as determined by the client, throughout the process.
How will I know if it worked?
As you make progress, building on what works and dropping what doesn’t, you will quickly gain enough momentum to continue the process on your own. You will be the judge of when this point has been reached. But if we get to a sixth session, I’ll be asking more pointed questions… I want your success story more than I want your custom.
Cost
€150 per 60-minute session. I recommend a frequency of 2-4 weeks.
